Following my article on tracking elite managers, here’s a brief snapshot of several well-known names from that group. All of these managers are included in the list of 1,000 used in the previous post.
I wanted to highlight some familiar figures to add context and credibility. It also gives you specific accounts to follow. I’ve included links for all the Gameweek 1 teams for each manager below if you want to investigate any of their teams.
I’ve also turned the tracking concept into a web app you can use here. It’s a simple, clean interface you can use week to week to monitor these managers and the moves they make.
Note: the 2025/26 photos aren’t available via the API yet, so you’ll see last season’s images, with blanks for players new to the league.

Mark Sutherns (Founder, FFS & FPL BlackBox)
Mark is the godfather of FPL content creation. He founded Fantasy Football Scout, hosted the Scoutcast for years, and now co-hosts FPL BlackBox on YouTube. He’s also an elite player, with multiple top 10k finishes under his belt. Mark combines seasoned wisdom with storytelling flair, making him a central figure in the FPL community.

Ben Crellin (The Fixture Planner)
Ben is the name when it comes to blank and double Gameweeks. His spreadsheets are legendary, helping thousands of managers navigate chaos with clarity. His own Hall of Fame standing is elite, but his influence goes beyond his ranks.

Fábio Borges (The GOAT)
Fábio is widely regarded as the greatest FPL manager of all time. Across seven seasons, he has never finished outside the top 20k and has multiple top 1k finishes, including a career-high of 95th overall. He doesn’t do content, doesn’t tweet, he just delivers season after season. A quiet genius.

Finn Sollie (The Norwegian Consistency Machine)
Ten top 10k finishes. Three top 1k finishes. A best of 39th overall. Finn even topped the Hall of Fame at one point. Another who doesn’t shout about it online, but his track record speaks volumes. The Norwegians really do dominate FPL.

Abdul Rehman (FPL Salah)
Abdul, better known as FPL Salah, combines a superb record (four top-1k finishes) with excellent content. He writes for The Athletic, produces guides for Fantasy Football Hub, and appears on the official FPL Show. A must-follow for those who want elite insight packaged in clear advice.

Mark McGettigan (FPL General)
The FPL General has three top-500 finishes, an astonishing achievement. He’s also one of the most engaging content creators, hosting the 59th Minute Pod and writing for The Athletic. His advice is trusted by thousands, delivered in his trademark “At ease, troops” style.

Pranil Sheth (Lateriser)
Lateriser has two top-200 finishes and is known for an aggressive playstyle. He co-hosts The FPL Wire podcast and is a bold, entertaining presence in the community.

Abubakar Siddiq (BigManBakar)
Bakar is a superstar on FPL Twitter. His weekly data-packed threads reach tens of thousands, and he’s an elite manager himself, with a career-best world rank of 84th. He’s the perfect blend of numbers, narrative, and community spirit.

Zophar (Yavuz Kabuk)
Eight top 10k finishes, with a best of 17th overall. Zophar co-hosts The FPL Wire alongside Lateriser and is an official FPL Panelist. Calm, logical, and consistent, a heavyweight.
